Ocholi Edicha who is one out of the six suspected killers of PDP Woman Leader in Kogi State has confessed that they were contracted by an APC chieftain to deal with the Late Mrs Salome Abuh, following a misunderstanding during the November 16th gubernatorial election.
Edicha made the confession to newsmen while being paraded by the State Police Command, stating that he had earlier slapped the woman during the election.
He claimed they did not know she was inside the house when they set the house ablaze.
State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Busari said the police in collaboration with the vigilante launched a manhunt for the suspects after the incident.
Others paraded are Adamu Haruna, Onu Egbunu, Musa Alidu, Attai Haruna Egwu, and Attah Ejeh.
According to the CP, the suspects confessed that they were also responsible for series of robbery attacks in the Ochadamu region of Kogi east.
Ocholi Edicha was said to have admitted that he led the gang that burnt the house, leading to the death of Mrs Abuh.
Busari while suing for peace, assured that all the perpetrators will not go unpunished, as efforts are on to apprehend the rest of the gang on the run.
